I went for Orange and wished I hadn't. Their support is worse than useless - see this site to read all about it http://www.orangeproblems.co.uk/phpBB2/
Their phone service is not standard either, it is basically VOIP which means that the quality is not brilliant, and the only way you can access the free calls is by using their wifi router called Livebox.
As soon as my minimum contract is up I shall be looking to change to another ISP.

Hi, When we got a second hand desktop computer we signed up with Wanadoo and when they changed to Orange they just did this automatically and it did not affect our internet connection at all. At this point we were connected via a wired modem that Wanadoo / Orange sent to us. We have recently bought a new laptop and Playstation 3 and wanted to connect them to the internet wirelessly so we bought a Netgear wireless router from Currys everything we needed was included, I did not have to correspond with Orange at all. I have to say I found it a bit tricky setting up so I rang Netgear who talked me through it (at one point the battery on my handset died, and the call cut off so they rang me back, which was great!). Since then we have had the desktop PC, laptop and PS3 all connected wirelessly with no problems whatsoever. Hope this helps.
We were with Wanadoo and then it was taken over by Orange, but we are not impressed with their connection speeds and ability to connect during busy periods. We also get disconnected numerous times a night. We will be swapping as soon as our contract is up this month, as we had the deal with mobile phones. Not sure who we will go with yet, but may look at Sky deals.
