Just finished watching " I now pronounce you chuck and larry ."A really funny comedy with adam sandler .Short version he marries his best friend to help hiom out and they have to pretend theyre gay.To the point of a marraige ceremony in canada.Great movie laughed loads at it.Anyone else seen it?I believe its out on dvd this month.Quite thought provoking the way folk treated them when they pretended to be gay .The homophobia was actually hilarious and made you realise that really its just people .Doc spock you must watch this i think it might open your eyes to your treatment of gays. Then again its just a comedy.
People remain the same.Opinions change. For example hanging great family entertainment now its njot?Burning a woman at the stake for thinking theyre a witch now its illegal.Flares good in the 70s not so good now .As i said opinions do change given time and thought.
I dont think homophobia is an illness its just an attitude probably down to ignorance more than anything else.Watch the film btw it uses comedy to point this out without being in your face pro gay.It really makes you laugh and think at the same time.
