There is any software to schedule our work, need suggestion?

Working in a big organization, where I have been assigned to control and take care of around 200 employees under me, I need to allot them work and want to track the performance of an employee and also my duty to tell the company about the performance either in soft or hard copy, In this computer age its is very easy to track the performance with a software, I need information about work scheduling software how it operates and the cost and benefits anyone here can help me out.

You've echoed my sentiments exactly there Doc. This guy is in charge of 200 people yet posts on a website asking joe public for help.

Surely, a better way would be to contact a few companies who provide this type of software and ask for a demo?
