there is one condition that must be fulfilled - you have to be an administrator.
to use restore<b/>
either
start | help and support | (it's the 5th option on the rhs of the window)
or
go to control panel - switch to category view (display shows 10 category icons)
in control panel - classic view (34 icons)
the help and support option is in the lhs "see also" pane
to check the settings
system | system restore
finally as ethel says it's in start | all progs | accessories | etc etc .... it should be .... look again.
after all that what's the problem .... wht do you need it ....
(generally I find it's no use anyhow - I swithched it off long ago!!!)
