Why has everything on my monitor gone larger. My Grandaughter was on the pc the other day and I don't know what she did but everything on it was bigger. So much bigger that when we switch on we cannot see icons because they have been pushed to edge of monitor. Will someone tell me how to sort this out in simple terms please as I am a novice at this and do not understand a lot of the language. Thankyou in advance,.

Assuming you have XP try -

On desktop, right click anywhere (but not on an icon)
Click 'properties'
Click the 'appearance' tab and set the font size to normal

Or she may have changed the screen resolution.
In which case right click on an empty part of the screen then click Properties then Settings and see what screen resolution is set.
You can change these settings to get back the resolution you had.
It may be that it now shows 800 X 600 and you want something like 1024 X 768.
