For an individual this is impossible.

Shops like PC World wil only stock well known "brands" such as Microsoft, Adobe, Norton etc.

PC World know these companies have an international name and will supply support, regular updates etc.

The best you can hope for is to make your software available for download from a web site and encourage people to pay if they use it. That way you can build up a name.

Many start up software companies begin this way.
Some good advice here:

Software on CDs and in cardboard packaging is old.

1) Get yourself a website, sell online.
2) Get yourself a reputation by word of mouth.
3) Let people just download your software -- no other distribution costs.
4) ???
5) Profit!
