Connecting XP & CE

I'm trying to network a PC running XP to three computers running Windows CE over the internet... Normally if using XP machines I'd use Hamachi on all the machines which seems to sort everything out for me, however Hamachi doesn't work on CE (I don't think), and so I need to do it "properly" (using VPN?)... Problem is that I don't really know what I'm doing?!! Has anyone got any tips, FAQs, or good online reference material?
