Does it reset to the same time say "January 1st 2003" for example? If so,it sounds like the battery on your motherboard has gone.

If you feel confident, you can take the lid off your PC and replace it, otherwise get someone to do it for you.
If it is not the battery it may be it is set to the wrong time zone and it is trying to set it to what it thinks is the local time.

Right click on the clock in the bottom right hand corner of the task bar, then chose Adjust date and time. The Properties window is displayed.

Select the Time zone tab and make sure it is set to Greenwich Mean Time if you are in the UK.

Make sure the tick box daylight savings time is also clicked.
