unplugging my processor

My pc recently went wrong and is getting sent back but inorder to send it back i need to unplug all the wires from it, how ever, one of the wires wont unplug, is this meant to stay in the back and not be removed?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.all wires on the back should be able to be unpluged, some will may be screwed inplace by little thumb screws on the plug (i.e. monitor) and some will be held in place by a little plastic latch on the side of the connector that needs to be pressed in while pulling the connector out (i.e. ethernet or phone line)

As markysngc says, all wires will come out.
Some connectors are like this (the one on the right in the picture)

With these you have to unscrew them using the little "handles" at the back (by hand or with a screwdriver), then you can remove them.
Others can be like this

To remove these you push down the little lever on the top and while holding it down remove the cable.
I think most other cables just pull out (but dont force it or you may break it)

If you have never done something like this before make sure you draw a little diagram of where each cable goes for each device (monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, broadband etc).
That way when you get the PC back from being repaired you can reconnect it easily.
