IE start window ...Maxixised

Hi..anyone any ideas on how I can get IE to start with a maximised window....currently mine always starts minimised. ......I know the usual way is to 'right clic' on the 'start menu entry' , select 'properties' and then select 'maximised in the 'run' option ....but this has no effect. All suggestions welcome !!

Open IE.

Maximize the window

Close IE

I think this SHOULD remember the settings and open maximized in future.

Note that if you reduce the size of the window, then close IE, it remembers and so wont open maximized the next time.

IIRC IE tends to remember the window size when you drag the edges to the required size rather than using the maximise button.

Thanks VHG and Kempie ....I had tried both of those and neither worked.. I am using IE7, which I have uninstalled and reloaded... still the same..... what I have not yet tried is going back to IE6. I also tried 'firefox' which opens OK maximised. Thanks again ....it will get 'sorted somehow sometime !!

this program should help with your problem

Its a common prob with internet explorer normally happens when someone cascades the titlebars, and it messes everything up.
