ipod shuffle

Please can someone tell me how to work this, how to put music onto it and take it off, Im going round in circles here, aaargh! x

You could just read the instruction book...

1) You use iTunes with it. If you haven't already, download it from apple.com.

2) Get your music into your iTunes library. Either buy online, download illegally, or rip your CDs. For the latter, just put them in your computer with iTunes open, and at the bottom of iTunes will be a button 'import CD'.

3) Once music in iTunes, your shuffle just makes a copy of what it can from iTunes to Shuffle. So connect your shuffle, and it should appear after a few seconds in iTunes. It should start auto-syncing. Then you press the eject button next to its name on the left pane, and you can disconnect from computer.

(Try and make sure it's connected to a direct USB connection from your computer, or a powered hub.)

You can make a playlist (+ sign on bottom left of itunes) highlight songs you want to add to it & right-click send to playlist , then after you plug the shuffle in select it in the left hand pane & then select 'autofill from' & the name of the playlist you want to put on . There's an option to replace all songs or not .

When you have a music libaray in itunes what I do is click the song drag and drop it in the ipod symbel in devices.

thank you so much for all your answers, even the cheeky one at the beginning helped (do read instructions, but am one of these females, where they seem gobbleygook) : ) gonna go home tonight and sort it out once and for all, your answers have made it look easy. x

god i find it really hard ..to get music on my i pod ..drives me nuts i give up with it ...
