I had a nasty virus on my Desk top that I managed to finally get fixed but because of it my wall paper was deleted and the Systems Administrator will not allow me to add ANYTHING at all to my screen. What do I need to do to get this fixed so that I can put another Wallpaper on there?

Sys Admin has taken the priviledge off for protection so theres not much you can do I dont suppose. Some of the wallpaper downloads are virus ridden.
It obviously isn't your own computer you are asking about, why not just accept that the systems admin has the right to tell you what you can and cannot put on the PC.?As weeal said the desktop wallpaper sites are not all as innocent as you might think.

I realize that it was done to prevent problems on my computer but I want to at least be able to put my family pictures on there. I dont have to go on to any sites for that. They can have that control because its to help but i want my screen to have something on it other than a black screen.
The whole issue here is that it isn't your screen so you have no right to put anything on it,you could try asking the sytem admin if they will do it for you though, then they don't have to worry about you damaging the computer in any way.

The issue is that it IS my screen that I have been refering to so I have every right to know whay I can not put something on it. after all it was my 800.00 that paid for it. If it was nessesary for the administrator to disable it because of a problem thats fine but now I want to know how to contact them so that I can get my accsess back if possible. I am new to computers so this is a learning experience for me.
oh I see the confusion here, everybody is thinking that it is a company computer (as daffy654 pointed out in the first sentence of their first reply). This confusion has been caused by the use of the phrase "the Systems Administrator" which would normally mean somebody else in a company that job is to look after the computers. In this instance as it is your own computer you are the systems administrator.

When you log into a computer you can either login as a user or an administrator, the users are normally locked out from preforming some tasks (such as changing desktop backgrounds) whereas a being logged in as a administrator allows access to everything and you are obviously logging in as a user, you should have another password for you computer to enable you to login to it as an administrator (it may be the same password as your user one).

What you need to do is login with the username administrator and the correct password for this account (as said may be the same) and change the settings for your user to enable the background to be changed. If you could post back with what version of windows you are running somebody will probably give further details on how thats done.
