Trojan Horse removal
5 Answers
My sister is having problems getting onto ntl broadband. She has phoned the helpline and the bloke there has deduced she has got a TH which is stopping the PC from 'phoning' the right number. He said to get someone(me) to download some spyware removal software for her, so that I can copy it to disk and put it on her PC. I have downloaded Spyware Doctor for her. 1) Will a spyware removal tool be enough to remove a TH? 2) Is Spyware Doctor good enough? 3) Any other advice. Thanks

Also get your sister to install NOD32 from Eset. its a lot better than Norton AV (well, it stopped several virus infected emails that passed strait through a bang up-to-date Norton AV anyway).
Thanks all. I am going to install Norton AV on her PC (as I've got it) so that should help. Probably didn't word that bit very well Gandy. I know it doesn't phone, but it just won't make a connection. Apparently the ntl techie sussed this was her problem by asking her to do some checks on her PC. I'm off there tomoorow night, so we'll see what happens.
