restore factory settings due to viruses no cd

hi i have to resore factoy settings to ididnt get a reboot disk only had it a week, i dont files as i have nothing saved of yet, my friend had a looat i and my security didnt fully install so i have been unproteced all this time he has putv on now ut it ct find the rest of viruses one i kno is called winanonmous i have install basicpydoctor too to no avail so will haveto restore can i ths with no cd? hav windows vista hp

Your post is very difficult to read.

However, you should have a manual either in book form or online.
That will tell you how to restore your pc to factory settings.

What pc is it?

bl**dy hell ... is your keyboard faulty as well??

you probably have a restore partition
try f11 on bootup

but look in the quick start or troubleshooting section of the handbook

yeh my keyboard seems to be sticking aswell now and again, i have tried f11 it doesnt do anything i have the option of pressing either tab key, esc or del and i cannot find reboot on eitherof these. i have an E-System and vista home prem. my manual tells me about it but not much else.
i am so stressed ut with it only had it a week and now these viruses are playing havok with it especially winannonymous which keeps coming up with fake scan info and browser pages
please help

from what I can make out from your post, which was tricky! you have had the machine a week and have had to do a system restore already and you have a sticky keyboard, unless both of these are caused by something hideously wrong you've done I think I would be tempted to return the computer back to the place it came from and ask for a replacement.

no sorry for my first post being hard to read right here goes....
i bought this comp a week or so ago i insalled my security with mcafee which came free with my sky bb package, by the looks of it, it had'nt installed properly and so i havent been covered andso got some viruses i have installed avg which has picked up most threats but still have some on which cannot be detected i have been told to do a system reboot altogether i dont mind wiping any programmes as i have nothing really stored but will my vista still be on i have no disk which came with computer apart from my works 9 cd how do i reboot and will it b ok without backup?

restart your computer, while its loading keep pressing F8 and a repair window will appear, go to repair windows click on it another window will open and you should see install windows and it will total reboot your computer

I know this will work, i have E-system laptop and i've had to do this a few times
