Is a NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS 256MB better than a Radeon X600 and will it run on my Dell Dimension 5150 and will it run Call Of Duty 4 without any problems.

Dells are very picky with what cards will and won't run and it is quite complicated.
Best phone Dell support and ask if the cards compatable,though personally i would buy a dearer one.

GPU .. Nvidia 6600 or AMD 9800 pro
RAM... 512mb or 768mb for Vista

personaly if i were you i would not change from an ATI card will have a nightmare trying to remove the drivers to replace them with the NVIDIA ones.
get a 1900xt or a 1950xt there around the �100 mark and very good value for money.
