I use Word 2007 (Home and Student Edition) and I would like to know how to stop a new line starting with a capital letter e.g. I write poetry and when I've written the first line and hit the enter key and begin the second line etc, it/they always begin with a capital letter...which I do not want. How do I prevent this? Ta Muchly.having

Hover your mouse cursor over the automatically-corrected letter. You should see a "lightening bolt" with a drop-down menu arrow. (The tool tip for this is AutoCorrection Options). Select "Stop Auto-Capitalizing First Letter of Sentences". Further options are also available.
