closed tabs on computer

if a page has been closed, I know you can see what it was from the 'history' but if all the tabs are closed and all you see is the screensaver, is there a way of finding out what pages had been viewed? If so how is this done please.

What browser are you using ? I.E. ? Firefox?

Open Firefox again select 'history' ,you'll see a list of recently viewed pages . If you want to look further back select view in sidebar. You can change the order from 'view' at top of sidebar menu.

Thanks Billy, I've done that but still can't do what I'm supposed to - I can't view what has been viewed say in the past 5 days - is it possible to do that?

maybe your computer is not set to save the history. Check tools>options>privacy. By default Firefox is set to remember pages visited for the last 9 days . As long as it is set to something other than 0 days you should be able to see what you needed as previous post

yes it is possible. Just click on favourites and on top of that page to the right click on history it is all there.

Are you trying to confuse matters? That's in I.E. jack is using firefox

I've set it for 10 days but what do I do when i open up the show in sidebar part

the sidebar should show you a list of all the pages you've visited . you can either use the search box at the top if you know what you're looking for or select view & sort in different ways - by date etc
