microsoft outlook wont let me send emails anymore because "the storage limit for the mailbox that is submitting the message has been exceeded" - ive deleted everything in my inbox, sent items and deleted items but stil no joy ? any advice ?

You need to make sure that the messages are deleted from the server and not just your local folders.
if it won't let you send because the mailbox size has been exceeded then it's the mailboox of the person you are sending too thats full not yours

Try sending a email to yourself to test all is working

it's my mailbox thats full - tried to send myself an email but got a message back off the system administrator saying that the email was undeliverable ?
It sounds like the problem is with your ISP - talk to them.
Do as Lucy Thomas says and delete from server. There should be an option for this in the Preferences or in Accounts
