Passing file to USB Printer
2 Answers
My printer is connected to USB port of my Win98 machine. How can I pass a print file (created in another computer by redirecting print output to file instead of printer) to the printer? If printer was in LPT1 it was easy with a DOS command:
copy LPT1 /b
But for USB printer what is the solution?

Ensure Printer/File sharing is switched on (somewhere in Control Panel/Network I think but I can't test it, I'm on NT)
Then right-click the printer, share as...
and give it a share name.
Then on the other PC click on Add Printer...Network Printer...then it should list all network printers.
