playing videos on samsung soul mobile phone

i've just got the samsung soul mobile phone and love it. however, prior to this phone i had the samsung G600, when i've transferred videos i made on the G600, to the soul, it won't play them, saying they are an unsupportable resolution - anyone know how i can change it so i can play these videos?? theformat that won't play is mp4. also, does anyone know if the soul has word suggestion like the G600 when writing a text? thanks!
