hard drive full

is there any body out there in computor land that can help me with a nealy full 40 gb hard drive,a download tells me that 28.7 is taken up by windows /26.7 by installer thats to me in code,docs & settings 2.3 gb,the rest in bits&bats i would like to no what is 100% safe to remove,i have just added a plug & play 80gb external hard drive?

Hi Monty..............download and install Ccleaner.............it's a free download, and has a powerful uninstall facility. Just go through the list and ask it to remove any stuff you don't need. Then use its cleanup facility to get rid of the inevitable leftovers :o)
