I posted a question earlier on in the week re my Philips laptop and the fact that since I have had a new motherboard the machine turns itself off and reboots when ever the power supply is removed (rather than working on batteries as had previously been the case) is this just a setting amendment somewhere? Also everytime I switch on I get Norton messages stating that certain firewalls / spyware has been switched off despite the fact that they are in fact on - again this has only happened since the new motherboard has been fitted - can anyone advise please?
