Viruses/spyware/adware/trojen. HELP! :(
10 Answers
Ok, we all know what it's like.. a little virus turns into a whole load of different types of viruses. More, more, more. They're breeding I tell you!
Anyway... I have downloaded many different virus removers, they all tell me I have like 70-something viruses on my pc, but they won't remove them unless I pay for it... so I have paid for one 'Spybot' it's called.
It says that it has deleted viruses and stuff, but I know there are still LOADS on here... it doesn't seem to be working efficiently.
I have trojens, spyware, adware.. all of it.
Can anyone help me? Please?
I can only get on a web page by going into 'start'... 'search'... 'search the internet'.. and then type in the address there. I can't use internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
I'd much appreciate anyone's help. You'd be my life saver.
:)
Thank you for reading, and any replies. x

Anyway, I would suggest uninstalling the "Spybot" you have, and replacing it with the one from http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/in dex.html . Update it and apply immunization, but do not run it yet.
Boot into "Safe Mode" (press F8 during startup), this should ensure that only essential services are running. Then run Spybot and get it to fix anything it finds.
What Antivirus (if any) are you running? If none, download ONE OF Avast, AVG or Antivir (all have free versions) and perform the above procedures.
