secondhand ipod problem
5 Answers
I have recently bought a secondhand ipod for my boyf. I already have one, so itunes is already on my computer. I plugged the new ipod in and restored factory settings to get rid of the stuff that was on it, but now its not doing anything. It wont let me sync and the ipod is permenantly displaying the do not disconnect sign. HELP!

Then you can log on as YOU, and HE can log on as HIM.
Then YOUR details and HIS will be totally separate.
When logged on as HIM then he can have all his own settings, his own desktop, internet favorites, and his own ipod details and so on.

that's not what she asked. I would say the ipod needs resetting, this is what you have to do:
unplug it from the computer
slide hold switch to on, then off
press and hold menu and centre buttons simutaneously untill the apple logo appears
that should work it
also, if its secondhand, it might need installing to the computer
