Burning photos as data disks
I burn photos as data disks so that they can be viewed on a dvd player. Been doing this successfully with the same software for 3 years but now when I burn photos they don't show on the dvd player, only the pc. Any ideas?

unfortunately ... It's still no clearer
I'm surprised an older player shows .JPGs .... but I don't doubt you.
Is there an error message?
cd/dvd actually uses a wide array of formats - normally without you seeing any difference.
starting with the least likely it could be the firmware in either the recorder or the player (you'd expect other errors if it was the recorder).
it could be a dodgy laser that's just dropped the intensity just enough not to read (or write)
it could be a windows update (can't see much in google ... so that seems unlikely
it could be the prog that's been upgraded
finally (and quite likely)
you've got a duff batch of discs.
easiest to try first ... try some new discs (different brand)
