Bluetooth with Laptop and Phone

Ive just bought a USB bluetooth dongle, and i'm wondering if there's any way that I can search my phone (browse the files on it) using my laptop, then retrieve the stuff I want that way? Thanks.

you can't browse the files on your phone using your computer but you can use your phone to browse through the files and then send them to your computer.
