My computer has started to use 'th, nd, st, rd' as small superior figures instead of 20th or 22nd etc.

Please does anyone know how to change it?

I assume you mean in word?

Goto tools > autocorrect and then click on the autoformat tab and take the tick out of the option about half way down that says ordinals (st) with superscript
By "My computer" I assume that you actually mean your word processor.
If It's Word 2007, you can change it as follows:
Click on the stupid nameless button at top, left.
At the bottom of the menu, click the button Word Options
On the left, click Proofing
Click the button AutoCorrect Options
Select the tab AutoFormat
Untick the box Ordinals (1st) with superscript

Click OK, OK

Sorry Chuck, I must type a lot slower than you!
