If you look you will find advice for POP3 email or similar, an that tells you how to set up your dedicated to email address to open in outlook. Sounds as if you have accidentally done this for your own outlook rather than your customer's.
When you click an e-mail link on a web site, either the web site itself will use sendmail to send the mail, or it will use your default e-mail client. It would seem that you have set up the site using the default e-mail client, and Outlook is your default client.
You need to change the default e-mail client on your computer to Windows Mail, as that is the client that you actually use. You can do this in Vista as follows:
Click the the stupid nameless button that is called Start under XP
Click Default Programs
Click Set Your Default Programs
Click on Windows Mail
Click Set This Program as the Default
Just to be clear, the fault is not in the web site, but in the configuration of your machine
