Nokia 6310 mobile connection to handsfree in car - BMW 318 hatchback
2 Answers
I recently experienced problems with my mobile phone connection in the car and so decided to disconnect it and start again. However there are no instructions in the car radio/telephone information as to how to reconnect. My phone connects via the radio and there are two buttons on the steering wheel, one for showing the numbers on the radio and one for dialling and receiving calls. There do not appear any buttons on the radio that are relevant to reconnecting the mobile. The reason I disconnected was because when you tried to call up the numbers nothing happened and the radio remained on and also when I pushed the dial button it showed all peculiar numbers and figures on it. Both the car and mobile are now almost 5 years old, although there is nothing whatsoever wrong with the phone apart from this problem. If I try to connect, I go into menu, bluetooth, view active device, press select and it says no device active. There does not seem to be a function key anywhere to reconnect. Whenever I turn the ignition on my mobile tells me it is disconnected from the car on a continual basis and it tells me the coding for the car relevant to the disconnection. If you push the RT button on the steering wheel it says "no phone ". Anyone any ideas. Thanks. Riptide
