The @ key

Can anyone please help, i have just got another computer and when you press the @ key instead you get " , the only way i can do it is to press shift and key 2 then i get the@. i hope this makes sense.

Try pressing the left hand side Alt and Shift together

Change the language to English keyboard.

You have the American keyboard layout setup

if you have a little blue box with EN in it next to your clock right click on this and select settings and change the default input language to english (united kingdom)

Sounds like the spanish keyboard to me .

Sorry meant to add if you don't have the little blue box by the clock then right click anywhere on the taskbar and select toolbars and put a tick next to language bar.
