smouse ... I had a feeling you could only log on to Office applications 50 times before you had to register your copy. But I'm not really an expert. In fact, I'm not even remotely an expert. But in any case, I want to do it all properly.

Yes, I'm out of the Dungeon. Actually, it's not a new PC. I run four computers from my little hidey hole at home ...
Computer 1 ... runs work and information for clients, and is not connected to the web, so it is safe from hacking, viruses, etc.
Computer 2 ... is used exclusively for my own Accounts, so that, as and when I need to, I can drop it off with my accountants without interrupting my own work.
Computer 3 ... is my serious work computer, which swaps info with Computers 1 and 2 only by removable media storage devices (chips, CDs, or whatever) to minimise the risk of infecting Computers 1 or 2.
Computer 4 ... is my general lappy, for emailing, web browsing, ABing, etc, and as a back-up for Computer 3. Computer 4 is the one that I'm currently having trouble with.
I would normally only come on AB from Computer 4. Today, in order to try to find help with Computer 4, I'm using Computer 3, so if I pick up a virus, I will be really upset.
