in my contol panrl i have an icon which says wireless link

hi i have just purchased a router and wireless usb plug, however i see in my control panel i hnave 2 icons one says wirless link and the other wirless network set up, does this mean my pc is already wireless?? thank you

tell-tale signs are a telescopic aerial on the side of the machine or a dish fixed above the screen ;0
in control panel
right click on network connections
in the lan or high-speed section
you'll see an upside down T (local area connection)
which is the wire network
and an aerial with ikkle green "waves" (cunningly) called - wireless network connection
if wireless isn't there you don't ..... if it is - you do and may or may not have a switch or maybe fn+f8

I've never seen this must have missed something :)
Right lick My Computer > properties > hardware > device manager>network adaptors - this will tell you if a wireless adaptor is installed and enabled
