Epson DX7400 printer

I recently bought one and now an ink cartridge needs to be re -placed. It tells me to do it using the computer but when i go to the user guide i cannot find the maintenance page to
proceed. Any help out there? Thank you

Hi redbreast- i've got the DX8450, and on the bumf it lists the DX7400 as well. What do you need to know?

Is there an LCD screen on the printer?

Okey doke- forget about that maintenance page. Just right click on the printer icon bottom right of your screen, select Printer Settings, then a maintenance tab should come up in the window . Good luck! xx

Thank you but i don;t have an icon in my taskbar. Should i re-install my printer CD?

Click on start and settings then control panel

then click on printers and faxes

You should see your printer listed there, right click on it and select properties and the maintenance tab should be along the top somewhere.

Already done that, I will have to have another go at changing the ink when i come back fron A&E about my swollen foot
