New PC keeps logging off when idle
Not really sure why. I've been into power settings and changed it all to never turn off etc. Turned off hibernate.
Still, after about 20 minutes away, I come back and it's back to Windows user login screen.
When left for longer, it comes up as workstation locked and requiring password.
I don't mind it going back to login screen, as programs keep running if it's there, but when it gets locked, they crash.
I'm running XP SP3
I can't change the power settings for other user - it won't let me, even after I changed their acount to admin and tried it again - could this be a cause or another symptom of the same problem?
Would removing their account and creating them a new one help do you think? That's possible for the next week or so because they're on holiday and haven't used it yet.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm stumped. I'm hoping it's just something simple I've missed.
Thanks
