i have a samsung laptop iam also with ntl,but i can not get on the internet i have router but i can not connect, as i have not got an ethernet connection on laptop, if any body coud tell me anything about it i would be most gratefull. cheers yukka.

errrr.... get a new laptop, it must be pretty old!

Or get a usb network adaptor, either wired, or wireless if your router is wireless.

Indeed Mr Chickens, it must have come with Noah's ark. The ethernet socket is generally close to the phoneline socket and slightly thicker, at the back of the lappy. Have another look, it should be there.

If it is that old that it has no modem it probably won't have a USB port either.
