Miniphone function

WindowsXP.USBRobotics plugged in and programme loaded. Sound square ticked for USB miniphone. When calls made, recipient voice comes through the Laptop and not the miniphone. What do I do to divert sound and calls to miniphone?

It would help if you mentioned what VOIP system you are using. If it's Skype:

Go to Tools/Options
On the left, click on Audio settings
Select the miniphone in the Microphone and Speakers sections.
Click Save
