i am on windows xp and using this virus protector

my mate has just brought a new laptop but is on vista for sum reason she cant load her virgin media pc prtector on it so can she use the one im using or is there any other free ones around that are really good ?

Probably worth getting a better firewall then the windows built in one too

Virgin Havent got it working on vista yet USE clamwin free and open source best bit is i wont costanly nag you to buy the full product!!!!!!!

clamwin only detected just over 50% of infections and ranked 37 out of 49 AV products tested in a recent test.

I find Anti-Vir is a really great anti-virus program, and they have a freeware version you can download and use too:
