Outlook Express lost folders

We had a powercut this morning when I was checking my emails. When I turned the computer back on the only emails in my Inbox were todays and all my local folders (the ones I had created) had disappeared along with the emails they contained. Does anyone know how I can get them back. Some of them are very important to me.
