I get this error message when i try to send email from my windows Live mail account.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (xxx34xxx) account. Windows Live Mail can't connect to the Hotmail server. To send and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the Web, or try again later.

Server Error: 5102
Server Response: Xfs request 'SyncBinary' failed. Response code: 'Undefined'
Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

I can actually send email but not receive it. This has gone on for days.
I can't get any help from Bill Gates can any of you folk help please?

Hotmails servers have been really slow and problematic for a couple of days now so it may just be that.

or you could try installing the latest version of the outlook connector to see if that helps

Is it possibly something to do with my new virus fingy? They seem to have arrived at the same time?
new virus fingy???

if it includes a firewall yes it could be to do with that.
