R4ds help needed!!!

I have formatted the microSD, added games, etc but when I plug in to the DS it will not allow me to open
.dat, .zip, or any similar files and so I can only look at the list of games and not open any of them.
PLEASE HELP IT'S DRIVING ME MAD!!!

The card only understands .nds files. You need to unzip the games (right click on them and unzip or extract is hopefully on the menu)and they should then turn into the right format. Then copy them over.
