big letters on screen.

some sites i go onto the letters all come up really big and lapping over each other..i cannot read whats written...its like the letters are zoomed in ...i havent a clue about computers though,,,this site is obviously ok ..it has happened to me before checking my hotmail also the gumtree site...i dont think its a problem with the site...help please...

thanks chuck.....had to press downthe 2 ctrl keys and press = and - and also scroll about but it got sorted eventually..

sorry to bore u guys again ,,,but i left gumtree after getting it sorted out,and went back just now and its the same-big massive letters all over screen,,cannot close them down,,,have done the ctlr and also pressed view-smallest text size..nothing is working....
