how do you find these please?

have you turned on saving your conversations, if you haven't they are not stored.

yes chuck but what is the default path to find them?

can't remember the default

select the Tools menu, Options... menu item, and then the Messages tab. At the bottom of the dialog is an item labeled: Message History. Select it and your conversations will be recorded in the directory listed in the box bellow.

If you're operating system is Windows XP then usually they are in My Documents/My Received Files/"yourname"

It tells you.

In your main MSN window, click on Options, then Messages and about half way down it shoes you the path.
