Something like this may work, but if it is an all in one printer you may lose some of the functions:

I don't know for definite but I am pretty confident you can't connect yur old printer to a USB dongle and make it wireless

You can get a little wireless print server (and for almost the same price, an Apple airport express), which will do this for you.
(The airport express also lets you pipe your computer music to your hifi wirelessly, and is a general wireless router.)
However, for printing, you may not achieve great results, as the devices usually have a small print buffer.
I have the Airport Express and find that it takes a minute or two to print a single side of A4 text on my Canon USB printer. Connecting directly gives me print speeds of 15 seconds or so.
