Windows 7 (Not a question)

Just in case anyone's interested in Windows 7...

I've spent the last couple of days playing with public beta, including writing some little test apps that require various levels of user privileges, and I actually quite like it!

It's a big improvement over Vista, in terms of speed and usability.

I agree, I've had a little play with the beta too and think it's a vast improvement over vista. though they just couldn't resist moving a few things about a little bit just so you have to do the normal post MS upgrade searching about!

We have a saying here in Greece: "Only the Father knows..."

Microsoft have said it won't be ready in time for Christmas, but lots of pundits are betting on August!

last I read
release is "later in the year" (at the moment that's either 2009 - or possibly quarter 4 which of course is 2010)
aka just in time for christmas?

I do agree ... looks pretty impressive - but I seem to remember a couple of vista betas did too
