laptop freezing

Hi
I need help with my laptop because everytime I switch it on it freezes when the main screen comes up so than I end up having to switch it on and off about 3 times and than it starts working as normal then.

Can anyone tell me whats wrong with it or should I get it repaired in some way.

Try running System Restore to take your laptop's registry back to a date before the problem occurred. (If you've installed any software in the intervening period, you'll need to reinstall it. However you won't lose any files created since the restore date, such as Word documents, image files or emails).
