The above programme I think is a spy installed on a PC to check what employers are doing on their PC & for parental control etc. It's apparently undetectable? Is there any way of checking if it has been installed on a PC? Thanks

Nothing is undetectable, more likely your employer has restricted your access to particular functions and filesystems so that 'you' can't see it.

If you are using the internet at work the employer can tell exactly where you've been with the log on the router

Thanks you two. It's not work, it's personal. I'm thinking that the person who built my pc & other peoples, may install this to perv what people are doing. I've checked the website for Snapshotspy, i'ts scary reading.

You could try downloading and running some spyware / malware programs and run them to see if it "finds" it.

The only snapshot that I know of is a useful diagnostic tool that can take a snapshot of the state of a punter's system in the event that they are experiencing a problem. It is run manually by typing Snapshot [pid] where [pid] identifies the process that is experiencing problems.
