Can anyone please tell me why my new Windows Vista machine will not connect to my older XP machine? The XP machine shows the new one on the work group but says I do not have permission to access it despite network discovery, file sharing and public folder sharing all being turned on on the new machine. Thanks for any help.

Relax, I don't need help with this any more, the new machine just wanted me to leave it alone to think about it for 20 minutes before telling me it had connected. Thanks anyway.
