Windows Security Centre pop-ups.
I keep getting irritating pop-ups from Windows Security Centre telling me that I should register for Antivirus 2009 as '24 infections found' and my computer is at risk. I already have AVG and Zone Alarm (free versions). No doubt Antivirus 2009 comes at a fee - which I don't want to pay.
What should I do, if anything and how can I put an end to these obstructive pop-ups from WSC ?
Thanks.

Infections like this can be VERY nasty.
I had a similar one a few weeks ago from a product called Spyware Defender or something like that.
Totally screwed up my computer and in the end I had to reinstall Windows as it was in such a mess.
It may be worth backng up all your important files in case your computer stops working and you have to reinstall Windows.
