5.1 speakers for laptop

I have a set of 5.1 VideoLogic surround sound speakers which I wish to connect to my laptop.
Is there an adaptor that I can use to plug the 3 leads that come from the sub-woofer into a single usb port on my laptop?
I understand that sound quality will be limited by the sound card I have in the laptop but I would still like to try.
