When I try to load a PST file into Outlook 2007 I keep on getting a message which says "This personal folders file (.pst) is already in use in the current profile" Any ideas as to how I can resolve the problem?

TIA

the easy answer is to rename the pst file you're trying to import, any name will do. You will then have 2 sets of mail folders to choose from down the left side of your screen. If you have a lot of sub folders in your current pst file you might have to scroll down below the bottom of your screen to find the new one you've just imported

rename the pst folder and try to import or export.

scan the .pst file so that if there is any error in the pst than scan it so that it will be errorless.

change the name of the directory. and than try to login. and load .
Is you PST file location in anywhere in network? Is it share evaluation? might be possible anyone accessing it, when you are connecting.
